Part three of a five part series I am doing this week that captures Amazing Screams. Each day I will add a new photo of a featured artist and their classic scream.

Kurt’s scream was so intensely emotional, and so often totally on note that it was more than just a scream. It was rough and edgy, incredibly passionate, emotional and he would use it to emphasis certain intense words like “rape” or “dive.” After a Nirvana show, and many times during them, Kurt would look totally drained, I mean completely exhausted, as if he had given everything he could possibly give. Some of Kurt’s best and most powerful screams can be heard on Negative Creep, Love Buzz, Dive, Aneurysm and Where Did You Sleep Last Night? from Unplugged.
